Knights of St. Columba

1919 to 2019: A Century of Service

The Knights of St. Columba is a Catholic fraternal organisation founded in 1919. We are dedicated to the principles of Charity, Unity and Fraternity and have more than 4,000 members in over 300 Councils across the country.

We exist to support the mission and doctrine of the Catholic Church and at the same time to work for the “spiritual and material good of its members and their families”.

Our local Bedford Council 338 meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 8:00pm in the Guild Room attached to the Holy Child and St Joseph Church, Midland Road.

We hold a monthly quiz on the third Wednesday of the month at the RAFA Club on Ashburnham Road, starting at 7:30pm.

We are active in many aspects of parish life in the Bedfordshire Pastoral Area.
