Couples preparing for marriage within the church, either at Holy Cross, or Ss Philip & James or elsewhere, participate in a formation programme which runs over three Saturdays in the Spring. The programme takes place at Ss Philip & James Church and is attended by couples from across the Bedford Pastoral Area. Married Catholic mentor couples accompany engaged couples on the programme, ‘Smart Loving Engaged’, which includes DVDs and time for private discussion on the material covered.
